There are more ways than one to connect. Jazz After Nine explores the disjointed relationship between an ex-rock guitarist father, Raymond, and his inability to connect with his jazz-loving son, Freddie. However, along with the help of his two ex-bandmates, Raymond strives to find a common ground where he is able to form a bond with his son.

Her parents are not home, her classmates aren’t helpful and San is tired. Amidst all this, an invisible boy appears and joins San on this daily journey to overcome her bottled emotions. With help from the boy, can San learn to accept both the situation and her true self?

Laila’s Nenek (Grandmother) is a eurasian girl born in the late 1930s but married into a Malay family later on. She has now passed on but visits Laila, her granddaughter in the form of her younger self every now and then. This time, she reminds Laila about the importance of the human connection, and how our forged relationships and the way we treat one another are a vital part of the Singaporean identity. Our people and how we navigate our coexistence is what makes Singapura, Singapura.
